Today marks 2 whole years of this little blog! I’m having fun trying to re-energize it and keep it going- thanks to all of you who have made this a great community to be a part of!
Something strange has overcome me this new year and I have suddenly been motivated to read books that have been on my TBR or my bookshelves forever. I also spent some time clearing books off my TBR that I doubted I’d ever get to. It has felt good to finally get around to some of the books I’ve been meaning to get around to and to let go of some books that I just wasn’t serious about reading someday. I’ve also been enjoying more literary fiction lately, which is nice because those usually give me lots to talk about.
Blogging-wise, I have been trying to stick to a schedule of posting something discussion-y on Mondays and a review on Thursdays. This seems to be working out pretty well, but finding fresh topics to talk about on Mondays will probably become an issue at some point, so we’ll see how long I can keep this up.
Books Read:
Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins– I saw the movie and it made me want to reread the book, but I have no intentions of doing a full review. I’ll just say that the pacing in this one drives me crazy.

The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz (review of the audiobook to come)
In the Works: I’m just a few pages away from finishing The Drake Equation by Heather Walsh and after that I’m either going to pick up one of the lesser-known novels by Shirley Jackson or Sarra Manning’s newest adult romance. I haven’t really decided which; it kind of depends on how cheap I am feeling. As for audio, the copy of The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao I have also includes Drown, a collection of Diaz’s short stories, so I will probably listen to that since I renewed it from the library already.

Don't Take My Books Away 
My main goal for this year in terms of blogging is to write some discussion posts, I love reading them so I figured it was about time I wrote them too!
I like discussion posts, too. I have a hard time writing them, but I feel like I get a lot more interaction out of them than reviews. I found memes helpful for coming up with ideas sometimes, but I haven’t really taken the time to see what new memes are out there (TTT got kind of old for me).
